Yes, each Smith Chason College campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Moreover, Smith Chason College has the following approvals:
- BPPE Approved | The California Campus are approved by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) to provide educational services in the State of California. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.
- AZPPSE Approved | The Phoenix campus is approved to operate in the state of Arizona by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education (AZPPSE).
- Programmatic Approvals
- BRN | The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at the Los Angeles campus is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- AZBN | The Practical Nursing program at the Phoenix campus is provisionally approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing (AZBN).
- ARMRIT | The MRI (Long) Diploma program and the Academic Associate of Science MRI program at the Los Angeles, Ontario, and Phoenix campuses are programmatically accredited by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

Smith Chason College graduates are eligible for professional registries or certifications, depending on their completed program, including ARDMS, ARMRIT, ARRT, NCLEX. To enroll at Smith Chason College, prospective students can initiate the process by scheduling a virtual interview with one of our Admissions Representatives. During the virtual interview, you’ll receive essential information about Smith Chason College, including our history, completion disclosures, placement and graduation rates, tuition payment plans, and guidance tailored to your professional educational goals. All Smith Chason College applicants must:
- Be at least 17 years of age
- Set an appointment with an Admissions Representative for an interview and to tour the campus
- Complete an Enrollment Application.
- Submit proof of having graduated from an accredited high school or the equivalent (see examples below)
- Submit a copy of an unexpired valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license or an identification card)
- Complete a criminal background check
- Be able to read, speak, and write English
- Complete a Personal Statement
- Pass the entrance examination
- Upon acceptance, sign an Enrollment Agreement and submit the Registration Fee (refundable within 3 days after signing the Enrollment Agreement)

Yes, Smith Chason College offers financial aid and scholarships to those who qualify.
To qualify, students must apply for aid through FAFSA, be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, maintain satisfactory academic progress, demonstrate financial need, and have a clean financial record.

Smith Chason College School of Nursing programs are offered in Ontario and Los Angeles Campuses. The program selection include the following:

- Use your Office.com credentials to log in conveniently.
- Accessible even while on the go, providing flexibility for students.
- Orbund Student Portal:
- Access your student information and make online payments through the Orbund Student Portal.
- This portal is a centralized hub for managing various aspects of your academic and administrative details.
For School of Medical Imaging, lab simulation technology like SonoSim, Butterfly, vSim, and GE are available to help you practice your lab skills while you’re away from campus, and so much more.
To set our students up for success on day one, Smith Chason has set minimum technology requirements so you can attend your online lecture courses with ease.
