Financial Aid and Scholarships available to those who qualify

Smith Chason understands that you might need a helping hand in pursuing your medical imaging and nursing careers. For that reason, financial aid and scholarships are available to those who qualify. To receive federally funded financial aid and some other types of financial assistance, students must:

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  2. Enroll as a regular student in an approved degree or certificate program
  3. Be a U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or eligible non-citizen
  4. Have a valid Social Security number
  5. Have a high school diploma or the recognized equivalent of a high school diploma
  6. Demonstrate financial need
  7. Not be in default on any federal student loan program or, if in default, have made satisfactory repayment arrangements
  8. Not be liable for an overpayment of a federal student grant
  9. Maintain satisfactory academic progress

In addition, a student must not be in default on any federal student loan program, including Stafford Loan, or owe a refund on a PELL Grant, SEOG, or state grant administered by the California Student Aid Commission. For additional eligibility requirements and to determine how much you will qualify for you may call or visit our financial aid office. One of our helpful financial aid advisors will walk you through the process.

  1. Connect with a Smith Chason Admissions advisor to learn more about our programs, start your application, and complete your entrance exam.
  2. Apply for Financial Aid at and use our federal school code 036393. Look for Triad Education, indicating our main campus in Los Angeles. Even if you’re applying to one of our other stunning campuses, please choose our main location in LA.
  3. After receiving your confirmations from FAFSA and sending them to your assigned admissions advisor, your admissions advisor will introduce you to your local financial aid representative. They’ll walk you through your options, including possible scholarships or grants available to you, so you can fund your education.
